As a result of the epic bargain barge thread(s), the Alfa has been retired (I'm going to miss that car) and we've acquired this.
2002 9-5 Aero HOT wagon. 89K. 250bhp petrol turbo. Lots of heated dead cow, lots of toys, appears pretty well screwed together, drives well. Lots of left-field appeal.
Slightly retro cabin feel. Stupid key placement.
No Dame Edna chrome.
It's also huge. I know this because I spent today washing, polishing and waxing it.

And yes, it is absolutely bleeding massive. The paint on ours was in need of a bit of correction with the polisher, but I only had time to wash it and machine polish one side of it before fading light meant I had to get on and wax it. I'll need to spend a day on it once the nights have drawn out a bit.
Ours has the metallic effect dashboard and cream leather.
Spent a few quid getting the sump dropped at the local Saab dealer for peace of mind, though in future we'll take it to an indy. They gave it a look over, and I was expecting it to come back with a list of work needed as long as your arm, actually they only pointed out that the rear suspension bushes were worn and the rear discs were down to 50%.
We've done a couple of long journeys in it over Xmas, and it is massively comfortable. I spent a couple of hours of M6 and M5 asleep in the passenger seat, reclined, seat base tilted back, heater on. More comfortable than my bed.
