I have started getting some estimates now for front end respray , through to chips away type localised repairs.

Prices vary wildly, does anyone have a front end respray Price so I can compare please.

Thanks

David

TVR Power bodyshop website price is £800 + VAT (£1000).

Seems that is quite a normal quote from my experience, although I'm sure if you could find a good small bodyshop, it should be less than that.

Found a local chap to me in Horsham , Sussex, who did some localised repairs to my car today. He did the work in my garage and mixed the paint in his van and repaired stone chips and some scratches.
I have no connection to his business but I would not hesitate to recommend him.
I am not sure how far he would travell he was half the cost of chips away.
The finish exceeded my expectations.

If you want his detail pm me.

Chips away don't (well certainly didn't) paint fiberglass. I thought none of the mobile companies did !?

I had a chips away quote and they do paint fiberglass. They were really bad business people though. Basically told me all the things they dont do.

Fair enough - maybe it was just my local franchise who didn't.

I paid £800 for front end and a load of other scratches/chips to be done. This was through Taylor TVR.

A few years ago I paid about £7-800ish for a front end respray from a local specialist, but for 'front end' read 'doors forward' and actually I think they did the passenger door and wing mirrors aswell. rotate
