Hi all
I'm after a new TV, 40 /42 inch but no bigger with a budget of £400. I assume most tv's come with at least 3 HDMI slots?
I'd prefer Panasonic if possible as that's what I've always had them and they have never let me down, but I'm open to suggestions.
Do I go for plasma or LCD or LED?
I've spent a few hours looking and I'm no further on, there is so much to choose from! Please help....
Thanks
Edit
I've got Sky HD and it will be used to watch dvd's, sports and films from my media player.
Is this any good?

Ended up buying this from my local Panasonic centre for £490 including a 5 year guarantee.

One question though, is there any particular dongle I need to connect to my home router?
Thanks

I bought the panasonic dongle for about £80 and to be fair it was s**t. Do you have a ps3? if so just connect that to the Tv and use it to stream everything. Or I use a spare HDMI cable that I just plug my laptop in with. I also you the usb post as I have a external hard drive and its brilliantly simple to use.http://www.comet.co.uk/p/Plasma-TVs/buy-PANASONIC-...

I don't have a PS3 although for christmas my wife bought me an Iomega ScreenPlay DX HD Media Player which has a wireless dongle I believe. Is that any use?
Apologies for the numpty answer!

At the moment my main TV is connected via a network cable plugged into the router as they are currently next to each other. Previously I used a couple of powerline connectors.
Extended old house with multiple thick solid walls reduced WiFi signal strength and I had the powerline adapters.
