While I'm waiting impatiently for my new MacBook Pro to be delivered (seriously can't wait), I've been eyeing up what games I could potentially run on it.

I've been thinking about getting Skyrim for a while after seeing my brother play it and having really enjoyed Oblivion a few years ago, and basically as the title suggests, it boils down whether or not to get it for my Xbox 360 or run it on the Mac (Using Bootcamp).

I don't really get all that much time at home and so never really get to use the Xbox much anymore, so the Mac seems the obvious choice. But, I've never been much of a PC gamer, never got used to using the keyboard and mouse (track pad in this case) to move about. Always leaves me really annoyed and wishing I could use my Xbox controller. :@

It's been a long while since I did any kind of PC gaming, but back then I remember the majority of games not supporting gamepads or similar. Are things still the same? What do you suggest?

Skyrim does gamepads really well, in retrospect, I'd of got it on the PC so I can play the mods, but unfortunately my PC broke on the move to Canada and I've not had it fixed yet frown

Good to know. smile

Just had a look and think I'll get the Xbox wireless receiver for Windows, which should work with my controller. Just the long wait till the 13th when it gets delivered. biggrin

I'd go for the PC option purely for the lack of load-times when navigating between areas. One of my few bugbears with the 360 version, even with it installed is the 5-10 second load, even when you're simply going into a small house.
