Daytona 24 hrs
Discussion
I did it a few years ago and it's quite different to lm. But well worth a visit. The Daytona prototypes are a bit lame but plenty of gts. The panoz and the lister ran when I was there.
Being in an arena, its a case of getting there early on the sat morning and trying to park up somewhere interesting. When I went the grandstands were all open and you could wander anywhere.
It was in someways difficult to watch as you can see the whole circuit so your eyes tend to wander all over the place.
I think I preferred Sebring as that's more of a traditional circuit but I'd still go back to daytona

Hi Simon ,
I am at Daytona and it is a brilliant place , very friendly and the race is full of close exciting racing for the 24 hours. I have just finished some driver coaching out here and can put you in touch with some teams here so you have someone to talk to when here if that helps. Also can suggest good hotels and where to eat.
cheers
Nigel

And tonight: "......Hear the show first on Tuesday at 20:00 Uk time on www.radiolemans.com repeated at 22:00 UK on Wednesday, directly after a special Midweek Motorsport, and don't forget the live European TV coverage on Motors TV over the weekend...."
