Service Tuesday, purchased my own oil. How much??

Alright guys, boxa.net's turnt into a knightmare just lately!!
Anyway hows it going.
Quick question. Got a service on tuesday for the 'S'. I was in Halfords today, and got a good deal on Mobil 1 oil, so going to supply my own oil to try and get the cost down a bit.
I have read a few times that some of you also do this. How much oil do you give them to use. The handbook suggests that a change takes anywhere between 8-9 litres. I got two 4 litre bottles with a couple of single litre bottles for free, but not going to give them all of it.

it says 9 for definite, however, certain OPC's have given various amounts, the worrying thing was they were owned by the same company...
I would ask your OPC and ONLY give them the amount they state..
Note: they may put at statement on your bill saying something like "as your supplied your own oil we will not be responsible for any damage that may be sustained thru the use of the oil supplied"...
