Can you solve my technical problem
Discussion
Good afternoon people of Pistonheads. Long time reader (of all of your posts!), first time poster.
Having a bit of a problem with my current runaround a 2001 Pug 106 zest2 1.1. I am in no way a vehicle mechanic. Basically my brake pedal goes to the floor BUT braking is only occuring on the offside (TEST-car drags to one side, skids on one wheel if pedal pressed hard). There has been no bang, crunch or any bad noises that would cause me to start 'thinking'. Was 100% yesterday and this morning gone. Basically I know it must be a hydraulic problem but surely if there was a leak it would depressurise both sides? A blockage maybe? This is bad, I know that much. Was helping PH could help me with the rest?
Thanks very much
Alex

If you aren't a vehicle mechanic and have no idea what you are doing then take it to a garage.
Bleeding the brakes can hide a problem temporarily only for it to rear it's head when you need them to work.
Wise words. Mess not with brakes if you have to ask on the internet.Bleeding the brakes can hide a problem temporarily only for it to rear it's head when you need them to work.
OP - for your information - brakes are diagonally split left/right/front/rear so that if anything catastrophic happens to one circuit, the other diagonal circuit will provide a residue of braking. This seems to be the case with yours.
