Non-water based coolants

Does anyone have experience with the use of non-water based coolants eg. Evans coolant in their 996 / 997. If we are to believe some of the woes of potential cylinder scoring etc are due to localised over heating (see extensive posts from Baz @ Hartech) perhaps use of these type of products would help? Also use of non water based coolant would minimise risk of corrosion to internals.
