ccj advise please

i recently had a ccj taken out against me(non paymant of credit card bill)got divorced no money...anyway i make no excuses i messed up and got into debt...i was due to get a charging order put on the house,, but i got in contact with debt company,and paid off the debt and didnt end up in court...Will a credit check show a ccj even though its paid off ??? if so can i get it removed ??? thanks phil

If you paid the CCJ in full within 30 days it should not appear on yout cedit record. If you paid after 30 days it will remain on your credit record for 6 years.
