My 59 Mk4 TDCI 140 Mondeo has a surging under acceleration issue that appears to be quite common.

The car should still be under warranty from Ford.

Who would be the best dealer to approach in Manchester area for a software update under warranty?

The car is new to me, so it could well have pottered about.

My journeys are virtually all far/fast enough to warm the engine so it will hopefully stay in fine fettle, as my Mk3 did -A European road trip, including an extensive "German Tune-up" did wonders for that car.
