Just spotted the side light bulb on my drivers side has gone. Is it an easy thing to change?

You'll need to pop the whole headlight out using the tool in the car's tool kit - instruction in onwners manual. Then you can change the bulb 'on the bench' as it were with relative ease.

If you mean the light above the bumper on the wheel arch, it just pops out if I remember correctly (maybe with the aid of a screwdriver to lever it out).

You can see it being removed in the beginning of this video:

eta, here's one for the main headlight removal if that's what you meant:

Thanks both, it's the main headlight but just the side light bulb within it.

Ok gone to do this and the one tool missing from my toolkit is the one I need to pop the headlight out!! Any idea if I can use anything else instead as whilst I'll buy a replacement I would like to do this ASAP if possible?

You can use a socket. Try a 5mm.

I got stung for more than that!

Mind you, all replaced and working ok thanks to a neighbour who lent me the tool from his Boxster toolkit.
