Car heater barely blowing

Hi,

The heater/AC in my car ('06 Hyundai Coupe SE) is not blowing air properly, even on the highest fan setting. I only get a slight breeze coming through the vents. As a result, I can't clear the mist from the windscreen, so I have to wind down the window slightly and freeze, or periodically clear the screen with a cloth. Before I take it to a garage, I'd like to know what is causing this issue.

What could be the problem?

P.s. the heat setting is working, because when I set it to hot, I can feel a hot breeze, like when putting your palm next to a newborn baby's nose.

Check the pollen filter is not full of leaves; similar the inlet grill under the windscreen.

i'd go with checking the filter - mine was rather weak but rest of it was working fine - had it replaced and its flowing nice and hot again!

I had this issue on an old escort - find the fan and make sure its turning ok - if not a good squirt of WD40 might free it up, otherwise it needs a new motor.
