I need a few measurements for the fixing kit ..These convert the early bonnets to accept rubber bumpers and the front one has a flat plate that 'joggles' the mount point (I need that plate size HxL) and then the rear unit is an upside down 'U' (I need the width of the plate). I am trying to get these right, having put a car back to the correct bonnet for the correct year. (I cannot find my samples)
TIA

Adrian,

Are the ones on mine the right type 72/74 car?
If they are I'll have a root in my garage at weekend.

The plates you're mentioning have nothing to do with the cast Aluminium wedge spacers, do they?

Best,
B.

Hi B,
The alloy units (2 each side) fit to the rear outer bumper points on this car, to hold the bumper level whilst the shell has an angle (again, these are used on the early shell which would of had chrome bumpers to allow rubber bumpers).
I will take some pictures of the front fitting kit, once they have come out of zinc plating and been prepared and painted.
