PAS conversion!
Discussion
i got a real bargain with mine, a guy on ebay was selling a whole system for 900 quid, but wanted a manual system instead and was willing to pay 300 quid, so i took my car to the garage, they stripped mine and sent it up to him, had the power rack reconditioned for £200 and fitted it with a few other new bits that looked a bit tired, so in effect i got a whole system brand new for about a grand, keep looking, they are about
There was an article about the Corsa electric power steering conversion in the TVRCC NL magazine last year, I remember one or two pics being quite clear/instructive about how the job's being done. If anyone wants it I can try and remember to bring it along and scan the article in a silent moment at the office...

"The motor drive assembly is used by a number of major car manufacturers and is used in a number of current vehicles and is built to an exceptionally high specification."
..a number of current vehicles including the Corsa I would suspect!
I haven't asked TBH, but I assume the RG conversion kit comes from EZ Electric Power Steering in the Netherlands as the description is quite similar. In that case the motors/CAN-bus controllers are mostly Japanese OEM units from Koyo and NSK.
Not sure what Vauxhall is using in the Corsa but I'd wager a guess it's the same unit as the Agila/Suzuki Splash which would probably come from either of above two.
A good point of the EZ conversion is that it dispenses with a weak point in the Chim's and Griffs steering - apparently they shortened the steering rod of the Vaux Cavalier column by cutting out a piece and welding the splined part that goes into the steering rack back on, and it's not uncommon to find cracks in that weld (quote - I wouldn't have expected a vehicle manufacturer doing anything amateurish like that on a safety critical part).
With the conversion, the rod is neatly replaced by two bespoke machined parts of which the outer splines match those at the rack and steering wheel ends in the car, and the inner ones go into the power steering motor/unit.

SC Power sell adjusted width Castor spacers fitting between the front upper wishbone and the hub spigot. The spacers reduce the castor angle a small amount without detriment to the steering feel. Reducing the castor angle lightens the steering loads and although not as effective as PAS they do help reduce steeering effort.
Speak to Richard Thorpe at RT Racing - Sheffield. The last time I had my chim serviced he was looking into an agreement with a engineering firm to start manafacturing new steering racks as the orginal ones were TVR made and are now v expensive to repair/refurb.
I'm not sure how he is progressing but its worth a try calling and chatting to him about it.

Could someone please give a rough figure to convert and details of rack and pump origin(manufacturer)please we have to convert one for a client just need a rough idea of cost and any gen TVR bits we may need looks simple job TBH.
Would it be cheaper to go on a body building course or buy a larger steering wheel
