I never thought i would be asking this but my Tam will not get past the 105 db limit at most tracks.

I don't own any baffled and i am no mood to put a quieter exhaust on my baby.

Anyone got any ideas to get me past those nasty men with their little gadgets?

Track silencers! Mine makes 103 normally (JP system) and 58 with the silencers fitted

Mine are from ACT with a tube welded on that fits inside the rolled edge of the exhaust tip which has a hole in it and a captive nut.

Are you serious - 103 to 58? That sounds one hell of a jump down in noise. 103 to 98 or mid 90's might be about right with out totally strangling your engine - all in my humble opinion of course.

How the hell are you going to reduce the noise then........(Bangs Head!!!!!)
Just fit standard can for TD's & fit power cans back after, it's not a hard job.......simples!

It definately won't be 58. 90's sound more like iut. The dB meter must be out of calibration or it was done at the incorrect distance/angle from the exhaust as per MSA regs

Clear typo...98 or was it 95? Either way, significant drop, takes two minutes to fit and allow you to enjoy the normal noise the rest of the time!

Do you have any pictures of this setup?

I have the JP exchaust on my Tamora and intend to do some tracksdays so need a solution to the noise issue - this could be it.
