Video here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-humber-164694...

I've watched it 3 times in case I missed something but if that's the most dangerous he has encountered in 200 hours of filming then he really has nothing to complain about!

I dozed off through that, did anything happen? Anyway, I figured there must be more to it, so have some more of his footage... http://www.simonmason.karoo.net/page454.htm

A good one is 'numptybus'... he's not exactly a model cyclist wink

The cyclist is a tt!

I am a cyclist and would post that as a safe commute.... at the end; which I can only assume is the point of the video, shows a red car encroaching slightly on the cyclist - but no more than that! He doesnt 'crowd' him - he just moves across slightly - and no more!

If cyclist are this precious and shake their heads so vigorously, then what do you expect numpty car drivers to do???

99% of car drivers dont ever think they are wrong - us included - so why does it change when we are on a bike?????

Oh well frown

Apart from the Clio getting a little friendly I'm not sure I see anything else wrong in that?

I can guarantee that I know the exact sort of bloke he is. I guarantee he knows all his rights as a cyclist and I bet he drives at 40mph in a 30....and 40mph in an NSL.

I also bet he likes to wear women's underwear but will never admit it to anyone.

There are a lot of cyclists that give cyclists a bad name. Complaining about that Clio is ridiculous. After 170miles a week of footage is that really the worst it gets?

the look he got from the chav on the moped was priceless, the chav didnt care until he saw the camera and i'm surprised the chav didnt then come after him on the moped.... vigilante stuff like that is just asking for trouble in my humble opinion, give the police the tip off but dont film the scumbags yourself...

as for the cyclists general roadcraft, its poor but i've seen worse, the "boy racer" flying past isnt actually going that fast, yes its a school zone but its clearly not open or the middle of the day as there is little traffic or pupils around.
