Playing a movie from a projector on a wall.

I know - a screen would be better.

But what is the best finish for a wall for watching movies? Satin white or Matt white? Anything else I should be aware of?

matt white would be best. used all sorts over the years. watched an old bond film last night and that was projected onto magnolia with a projector that is easily ten years old. still worth it

Never used it, nor do I know what special properties it has (if any), but there is paint available specifically for this purpose...

eta- The Goo system has been shown to give better results than medium level screens.
