The cheapest one in Richer Sound is Onkyo 709 for £599. I really don't want to pay that much just for this one function (I mean when I'll be perfectly happy with specs for £300) but I'm fed up with swapping the cables between the projector and the TV.
I bought the HDMI splitter but a) it's another box/remote etc b) it does create artifacts

Is there really nothing cheaper/older that has dual hdmi out?

Give these guys a call or email, http://www.musicraft.co.uk/site/index.php?option=c...

They have a couple of Yamahas for sale (although I am not sure how often they update their details):-

Both the 767 and 1067 have dual HDMI outs. I have the 2067 and it is fantastic. Sounds great and has top features.

Or look on avforums as they have secondhand gear.

Best of luck, let us know how you get on!

Unfortunately its only a feature on more expensive Onkyo/Yamaha/Denon units so you won't get many other options. Suggest a trawl of eBay to look at used models further up the range a few years old.

Just looked again, there is a 767 for £250 so fairly close to your budget. Maybe they'll do a deal?

I called them - the website is out of date. I can't find any other 767s anywhere else, but that would work.

Will probably be well over £500 by the time you add shipping, import tax and VAT on top ...
