TIPEC - that other smaller Porsche club is holding its national day on May 27th at Hatton. I know not everyone is in to beardy type club days, which is why this is not in the Porsche section. However for those that are (and on the whole we dont have beards), we are looking to build on 2011 and have a series of events in a 'ring'. ALL based on Porsche and Porsche ownership. There will be trader demos etc but we thought it would be a good idea this year to show off some unusual / unique Porsches as part of the ongoing 'ring' programme. In effect sharing the enthusiasm for all forms of Porsche as well as see and hear from someone that has been there, done it and owns something unique. This might be a total nut and bolt restoration, modifications, hughely rare etc. Anything that makes it stand out as something unusual. We are only looking for about 3-4 with varying models and degrees of speciality. If your car goes in you will be asked about it all on the mic' plus take any questions from those intereseted. So often wonderful cars turn up and in some cases I am sure people want to hear more about them, get up close and learn from the owner.

If you would like your car to have its moment of fame then please contact me at clive.gosling@tipec.net or PM through this site. The organsing committee (myself and another bloke) will work out what goes in and when. Anyone whose car is selected will be provided free admission. Not exactly a great perk when everyone gets in for free in any case - but we might throw in a cup of coffee also.

Cheers -
