I have a set of Nitron dampers off my old Tamora and was wondering how much they are worth?
They were on the car for less than a year/3,000 miles and are in good condition.
I assume they also fit other T cars T350 & Tuscans?
I think they were about £1,100 new!
They are the gas filled mono-tube type...

If you want to sell them i'm interested as i'm about to invest in a new set of dampers, not sure which ones i'm going to get, but Nitrons would be good.

Might be a little on the high side pricewise. I bought a second hand set with Eibach springs from a car that had used them for 500 miles. I paid £599 and decided to have them rebuilt at £50 each plus vat.

S6devil,
sounds like you got a bargain!!!
these were rebuilt when i put the new eibach springs on... im open to offers.
personally i think that the nitrons are streets ahead of the oil filled shox...
how did you find them?

Not sure what you're asking so I'll answer both.

I found them on Pistonhead's classifieds.

I bought a cat D car which needed new shocks. I didn't drive the car with the oiled filled shocks so can't compare the two.

I think people are generally wary of second hand dampers but with a fresh rebuild could be reassured

Like i said they were rebuilt a year/3K miles b4 coming off the car & had brad new Eibach springs fitted at the same time so should be good for a couple of years.
Barry fitted Gaz Golds to his Tam and hated the ride & changed them to Nitrons, said it transformed the car, also know a couple of others who have changed to Nirtons from standard setup and have said similar. i've only ever driven t with the Nitrons on so have nothing to compare it to but it did ride well even on quite rough roads!!

good deal to get a set of Nitrons for £600, £800 seems fair when you consider a new set with vat are near £1200.

I know these shocks & Andy and they are genuine quality and not done many miles. I just wish he'd have wrote the Tam off before I bought mine brand new how selfish!!
