Plans Motorsport - anyone been there?
Discussion
Spotted them as they have a rather pricey 3R for sale in the classifieds.
However, from their website it seems they know what they are talking about, are conveniently located for me and list various service options for a Noble.
BUT, can anyone recommend them? The services seem pricey but then mine hasn't had one yet since I got it in June.
As Mole valley blotted their copy book on day one with me, looking for somewhere to take mine for routine service, fit my new brake pads and brake fluid.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Lawrence

You and Tux crack me up. I know I should go to Jetstream, and I guess in reality it's not a million miles away but I am so lazy....it's on the wrong direction. I never go that way!
Plus I fear I might end up getting tuning done or something and I want to keep mine standard and totally reliable.....
Decisions decisions.....

to be honest mate i used to think the same. I wondered why everyone was banging on about them as how much better can they be than any other specialist, But After going there for some servicing work i knew what the fuss was about! Dave and Matt simply know what they are talking about, Prices are good for level of work and Daves experience working with Noble for many years is evident! You and Tux crack me up. They arent as far from me as you, (im jct 9 M1).. Its also a nice stretch of road once you get off the M1!

Hi Lawrence ........ Stop being such a bloody girl at get it to Jetstream !!!!!
And get it modified or else you are going to get your ass whipped at Spa

I have a long way to go to be able to keep up with you i fear. Although, take your bloody semi slicks off and with my new brake pads fitted i'd have more of a chance. And get it modified or else you are going to get your ass whipped at Spa

Contemplating paying someone to modify this underground garage i park in so i can have a splitter....coupled with your carbon infils. It was really windy the other day and at a considerable speed on the motorway (70mph obviously) the front felt like it was being blown about a bit and was a bit light.....
No servicing experience with Plans but they were the ONLY outfit to correctly diagnose a suspension problem that the supplying dealer couldn't sort (after three attempts). And they were on to it almost immidiately. I think it has been mentioned before that they are good at setting up track cars.
With a marketing hat on one could say that they don't care about customer service as, if I saw these kind of postings about my business I'd be all over you guys to correct the message pronto.

Hi Lawrence
I have used a guy in Witley about 4 miles south of Godalming ever since I have had the car.He is a volkswagen/audi specialist but after doing 8 services on my car he knows his way around them really well.
His garage is a member of the good garage scheme and I highly reccomend his work. Also I have never payed anywhere near the figures plans qoute for servicing.
Cheers
Chris
