Normal Licence is fine. Its a good time to go as (hopefully) less busy and the low temperatures gives brakes an easier time - especially if their standard. Don't think it will get any cheaper at Brands for a full day either
Indeed, thats why its interesting, is there a minimum gage to drive there? I'll see if i can get dad to bring the 944 and see if I can have a go

MSV's own rules are you need to be 17 with a full drivers licence. Alternatively 16-18 and have an MSA national B licence but you need an instructor with you or be on your own, no passengers. You do actually need to have your driving licence with you (and I think the paper counterpart too - been a while since I did an MSV circuit).
99 quid Brands Indy open pit is good value, as long as they don't let more than about 15 cars out at a time as it can get very congested.
