Shadow things

I quite often at night see shadow figures moving very quickly out my peripheral vision. There is obviously never anything there when I turn to look but sometimes can actually be a bit freaky/wtf moment-y.

Anyone experience anything like this? Could is just be a sensitive peripheral vision.

could be, or it could be shadow things, 5 dimensional beings, you are only seeing them in 3 dimensios

Yeah, I notice this when I'm driving at night round the country roads where I live, must be the moving headlamps shining through the trees.

I like it.

I had to get something out of the garage last night. Before I could find the light switch I noticed a shadow shifting across the floor moving away from me.

Scared the crap out of me until I switched the light on and saw a cat cowering in the corner.

I get this either last thing at night or first thing when getting up always in the dark, just that sense that something has shifted out the way, but as you say in the very edge of the peripheral vision.

I like to think it's my late brother keeping an eye on me.
