Afternoon.

Have just bought an Ocean Haze Griff - with a totally black interior, that needs changing.

The colour is quite unlike anything else that TVR did, so would owners of Ocean Haze cars kindly post up some pictures of what interior trim they have.

I'm thinking of Portland Grey full leather with a mid-green colour carpet trimmed in grey. But really not sure.

Thanks in advance.

Your radar is better than mine Simon - haven't seen an Ocean Haze for sale in ages.... how did you locate one for sale?

Re. colours I think magnolia leather with a contrasting carpet colour would look the biz.. but then I think black would look OK too....

Simon. I am more than happy with mine. Full magnolia leather. Starmist Ocean Haze was a TVR press car choice by Peter Wheeler himself!. FlipFlopGriff has one.

Two photos of my '95 Ocean Haze Griff 500.

The seats and tunnel are slightly darker than the photos show.

Hope they help.

Navy Blue Seats , Dash Top and Door Cards ( vinle ,not the tacky Carpet Door Cards though ) And Red Carpets . A Navy Interior Allways looks Classy and isnt Opressive / Clostraphobic like Black .

Red Carpet always look great I'n lots of cars, ie E Type , Ferrari 550 , R5 GT Turbo , 205 GTI 1.9 etc .

I have also seen a Mid Tan I'n Your Body colour , but wasn't keen on it .

Doe Skin is another nice Griff Interior Colour, my 96 Mallard one had it .

My 98 Stsrmist car has Magnolia seats , centre console and door (edges only fortuneately ) which One day i will change , it really shows the Dirt and Scuffs etc etc .

Personally I think Grey is an Awfull trim colour .

Found it on Autotrader - shame I wasn't tuned in to the auction scene as that's where it came from.

There's also one for sale at Austec in Crawley - great chassis.

I'm tempted to go for a dark (ish) interior to offset the light body colour but black vinyl with black carpets (and a black roof) is just too much!!

Think I'll ask D&C what they recommend.

Keep the ideas coming please

Black Roof , and a Navy Interior. ? The Navy Blue door cards and Carpets in my one are a nice shade of blue and not too dark . Still say Red Footwell Carpets .

Many E Type Series 1s ( inc My Late Fathers 67 Coupe had a Suade Green Interior , I'n a British Racing Green car . The Green Vinle Colour that Jaguar used was Very nice , I well remember it . Suade Green would go well with your Exterior Body colour .

May be worth contacting Suffolk and Turley for some Vinle Samples .

Very comical. Check out the Urban Dictionary definition of amo-sexual (assume you just missed out the hyphen Daz?) Amazing how you learn something new every day wink

personally think black suits it perfectly - great contrast.

beige interior makes it look like a giant inside out pistachio !

I must agree, black looks great, I personally dislike cream/beige on all interiors

Any colour suits the iconic Griff. Black hides the dirt better. Needs less cleaning. Cabin visually smaller. Less eye catching. That's what TVRs are all about. SMILES.
