They are quite comfy. They are pretty much the only electric car that is a real car inside and not a spacker chariot with plastic shed stuck on it, save for the Tesla.

IIRC an electric motor gives 100% of it's torque at zero rpm, so good for standing starts.

Has anyone actually bought one of these yet, other than councils and various energy companies etc? The only ones I've seen have some sponsor or other down the side.

Its got quite a fine focus for smaller targets

I saw one in Greystones just outside Dublin. It was night time but it looked pretty good in black, modern looking but I think it will age OK, interior looked nice.

Overall I say its a nice looking wee runaround hatchback, just as nice as a Corsa or Micra or what have you but the cost is still a bit too high for that.

I would drive one happily, its not sporty nor is it meant to be so whats wrong with it not having an engine?

it more sort of golf sized and a automatic golf to a similar spec isn't a huge amount cheaper

As a domestic appliance a lack of engine could only add to the appeal

Its not like your average car has an engine that adds to the experience. Very few people dream of owning a car with a 4 pot diesel

As an ex-Nissan salesman I can tell you that...well, nothing. In the time I worked for them I didnt see one or even hear of one being driven by a 'real' person. I did hear that they werent selling quite as much as they thought they would. Something to do with the huge cost and tiny range?
