BMW Announce new M Performance mid range cars

Appears the much needed sub brand to full blown M models has been announced.

After much slating for having cars such as the 130i m sport dressed the same as a 116i M Sport it appears that BMW have realised there is a need for mid level between Full Blown M cars such as the new M5 and the rep mobiles such as 320d's and 116i. So the new brand of BMW M Performance seems to be the way to go. Seems obvious as they have been using the Performance branding for a few years now for there optional tuning kit that can be fited to all models.

Think of this as ST to RS for ford and FR to Cupra for SEAT.

I rather like that the M-models are the pinnacle (in BMW's opinion) of each Model. Rather a let down to see they're now going to do this.
