Viewing C240 this morning - advice please!

Morning all,

I'm a newbie to Mercedes but have had a range of cars over the last 20 years or so. I'm wanting to buy a 5 seater car for the family and have around £5k to spend.

I'm attracted by the C class, and I'm going to view this car this morning:

In terms of models, what else should I be considering?
