dare say it's the location rather than anything else that puts people off, anywhere you've got to get a ferry or plane to is a step too far for most. agreed it does look lovely though smile

it was up at £41,995 originally i think & i did contact the vendor but he wasn't up for dropping the price back then. shame....

No way, not for me, it is all part of the thrill of the chase. I would travel hours to go and see the right car, my last 3 have been via airplane.

Presumeably supplied by OPC Belfast, which has just had (allegedley) shocking revelations published about it with regards to a new vehicle on another forum from across the pond. On that (alleged) evidence........

Cheers for the replies.

I do like the red one, I was guessing it's location puts people off as it's a bit of a pain to pop over to Ireland to see car. I think I'll try and give him a call and see where we go from there.

Keen to make sure I get the right car as it's a very substantial purchase for me.

actually that's not exactly what it says..... it only says never used as a 'trackday car' which may or may not mean it's never been on a track whistle

I'd go for the PS car personally

I used to use the opc on my previous 996 turbo and i'd no problems with them, but now i use a specialist (george mcmullen) and i'm more confident to using him!

Google the owners name and you'll quickly establish that he is a five-time Circuit of Ireland Rally Champion - so probably quite handy at the wheel!

This is the best one on the market at the moment http://www.canfordclassics.co.uk/porsches-for-sale...

It's absolutely perfect (I should know it's my old car and I spent a fortune on it).

M

Edited to add : no vested interest ... anymore!
