PH Yorkshire Clay Pigeon Shoot
Discussion
Anyone up for it?
Saturday morning meet at a clay ground that suits everyone. Probably meet up at around 9am, bacon roll and a coffee, then do something like a mixed Sporting 100. If there is 8-10 of us we'd be finished by about 11.30am and can depart whenever we like.
Anyone in? If so add your name to list below and a couple of other things so we know what we've got.
I'd imagine cost per head for a Sporting 100 would be around £30-40, less if you have your own gun/bring own cartridges.
Proposed date of Sat Jan 21st ot Sat Feb 4th.

I'd be up for it if it's not too far away. Either date is okay for me, but February would be slightly better.
I've only been shooting once before and that was when WildOliver organised it (4 years ago, http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... and enjoyed it.

Woah there - don't book anything around me yet - only a maybe!
Probably sub consciously worried about enjoying it as I have enough expensive hobbies at the moment!
Shooting is not too bad...Probably sub consciously worried about enjoying it as I have enough expensive hobbies at the moment!
If you wanted to buy a gun, shoot clays every other weekend and do half a dozen driven pheasant days a season then your first year will only cost you around £6000

If you want an expensive hobby try grouse shooting or polo. £25k per year should get you about 12 days out...
I'm in to kill some clay discs
. All sorted and I'm not working and no flights on the horizon that are not planned.
I'm also up for some beating eventually with my new springer to get him used to the guns. I'm also looking at an over and under when I sort out my licence.
