Unsprung mass on GT3? How much of a reduction is necessary?

Im thinking about a change of wheel, and the OZ Ultraleggera 19"s have a 9.6kg saving in total over the stock Gt3 wheels.

Is a saving of 9.6kg in unsprung mass considered much, and will it be noticed?

The stock GT3 rims are that much heavier than OZs? Surprising.

You might feel the car a bit better over bumpy surfaces, but 2.4kg per corner isn't going to set the world on fire.

I believe that 1 kg of unsprung mass saved is equivalent to 6kg of sprung mass, so yes, very noticable.
