WHY DO SOME PEOPLE DRIVE INTO PETROL STATIONS THE WRONG F***ING WAY?!!!!
You should've seen the chaos this woman in a red XC90 caused today in Tonbridge, a queue of cars waiting for a pump while she tried to part them on her way out. No doubt she went on to do 60 in the outside lane and then park on the zigzags.

...and those who faff about with their credit cards and wallets for an age after they get back into their cars - the car that's blocking YOUR access to the pump you've been queuing for for 10 minutes!

That really annoys me, If I'm going in. I sort of drive in like I can't see them and my car is a tank smile

I know the ones, they're getting the weeks shopping in while you're sat there with all the time in the world.

Interesting topic, our local petrol station used to have entry/exit at either side and it was great. If the first pump was in use then you simply take the 2nd entrance and back up to the pump in front, the person already there could then backup themselves and go out the way they came in.

Just recently they introduced a one-way system which is totally inefficient. If theres a person using the 1st pump then you have to sit and queue while the 2nd pump is unused. Likewise if you finish fueling before the person infront - you have to wait for them to finish while blocking the pump for the person behind you.

I can't see any reason to change the old system!

What annoys me most is when you're in a hurry, all you have to do is hand over a 20 pound note for petrol and someone is standing in front of you with 2 baskets of groceries.

Or people who are unable to park properly so take up 2 pumps as nothing short of a scooter would get on the next one.

When you're retired you'll KNOW there's not that many years left and impatience will take on a whole new meaning... Think Victor Meldrew!

Top tips,

Always fill up at night when they are quiet.

Always brim the car, it costs as much in the long run anyway and time is worth more than the interest on £50 in your bank for 4 days.

Use pay at pump if it's available.

Pop Radio 4 on 5 minutes before you get to the filling station to help you relax.

If people are dumb just feel smug that you're not instead of being angry at them.

Spot on. Tesco, late satdy or sunday night, pay at pump.
