Silly jingoistic rhetorical question really.

A human reaction in this situation would surpass politics, some may be brave, some cowardly, some may freeze, some may be quick thinking, fight or flight and all that.

In my case I'd use it, what's the point of carrying a gun anyway if it's not to be used when necessary. If I had time I'd like to use it to incapacitate the bloke in a (hopefully) non lethal manner.

Also go ask it on a Yank website for obvious reasons.
