Problems with Sky 3D & Panasonic TX-P50ST30B

Have just bought a Panasonic plasma TV & have recorded a film from the Sky 3D channel. Started watching the film and all was going fine ( excellent 3d picture) and the all of a sudden the double screen appeared on the TV screen as the 3d signal was no longer being detected! Tried setting it manually but the same thing happened again!

Went into the TV settings and switched off the auto detect of 3d but when started watching the film again the same problem occurred!!!

Has anyone else had this problem? Please help!!!!!!
