No harm in calling them up, i would as its not standard manufactures specification. May add a few ££ but worth it to ensure they have no reason not to pay out should you ever need it...

Really? I've been running std tyres on run flat rims for 7 years and 100k miles on two cars with no cracks...................Edited by lgw on Friday 13th January 22:57
Why would putting non-run flats affect the rims adversely? The force is still being transferred to the same section of the rim in roughly the same area - if anything I would have thought the less stiff side-wall of the "normal" tyre would spread the load along a longer section of the rim, putting less localised stress on it?
