Right guys and gals, I seem to be in two minds!
I absolutely love my tiger kit car, but it really is only for the summer as I dont have the wet weather kit. Just yesterday I have a look outside and see the sky is clear. I wheel the car out and set off, 30 minutes in and yep you guessed it starts to pour. So there I am driving through St albans high road getting soaked and really not loving it at all.
So now I am finding myself looking through the classifieds for something with a wet weather kit, and I seem to be drawn towards the GTM libra. There pretty much what I want, still a kit car so the insurance is affordable for me and still a raw hardcore car! So what are these actually like to drive, what does the performance stack up to something like my tiger and just some general 1st person experience would be great please.
Thanks guys.

I loved mine. 4 years of ownership, many dawn raids to Wales, several track days.
I sold it 2 years ago and still miss it. :-(
Practical, fantastic looking. Faster than an Elise, marginal against an S1 Exige.
It's yellow and now getting itself a supercharged vtech!
btw - the ex Roger car for sale as mentioned above is probably the best developed one.

There are a couple of people I know who have used them every day for years. One has been using his every day for at least 4 years. The other covered around 50,000 miles in about 2 years in his!
3 years running I did 3500 miles in 10 days in mine through the Alps. 2500 of that without using motorways. Upto 12 hours a day in one was no more more of a problem than a normal car. 600 miles between Lake Bled and Antibes in the south of France in one go was a little wearing though :-)
