Specifically looking at the 600DF, but wondering what the quality is like ? Also considering a Smeg which is a bit better energy wise, but doesnt have a glass hob cover, which our current cooker does and would be sorely missed.

Pretty unremarkable but entirely sufficient for most.

I made the mistake of buying kenwood three years ago and have had lots of issues with it.

I doubt it. Sure the Stoves will be fine.

Unless you're buying Wolf or other high end brands they are fairly similar in quality.

Smeg are Italian, and it shows at times. If you use it a lot, then things go wrong.

Historically, Stoves were absolute ste.

I purchased a Zanussi double oven (gas) just over a year ago, superb tool. Model ZCG662 . Thermostic top oven/grill and 3 sizes of hob burners. Some gas hobs seem to lack a proper simmer burners.

Dunno how the price is now, but highly recomended.
