Petrol engine in a vito??

I just wondered if it would be possible to fit some kind of merc petrol engine (relatively quick & nice sounding) in to a vito van??

Should be easy enough surely, as the Merc people carrier (V-Class/Viano?) was basically a Vito with side windows and lots of rear seats, I've hired one, V350 from memory with a 3.5 V6 petrol engine IIRC.
