Currently have Falken 252 all round, but fronts need changing, any issues with moveing back to Toyos at the front end with Falkens on the rear?
What rims/sizes have you got on?
ive just bought Tyres all round to fit factory Imolas
Yokohama S Drive for fronts 205 55 15 W - previously had Dunlop SP9000 ZR
Toyo Proxes T1R for rears 225 50 16 W - previously had Dunlop SP2000 ZR
for some reason Dunlops have shot up in price also ZR rated tyres are hard to get hold of. The Toyos speak for themselves as a preferred tyre for rears but went for the premium brand Yokahamas for fronts as the reviews were better than other makes and price was well within budget
Toyos dont do W rated tyres on 15 inch rims V only which is a shame i wouldnt fit V rated tyres on a TVR

Front tyres don`t take that much stick so you have wasted money on the Yokohama`s .

I know there's only a few places when you can do over 150 and achieved it many times allegedly! but v rated tyres are a no no on a TVR

Anyone have any experience of these?

Got em on the front at the mo, and the avons on the rear are needing replaced.
Was debating where it's worth matching front-to-rear. They seem to be fairly well thought of, for the money at least.

They seem very popular but for some reason not with TVR owners..Remember Toyos were a very cheap budget tyre but after finding how good they are the prices have gone up..

I can't see any reason why lower speed rating tyres (within reason) shouldn't be safe when kept in the range they're designed for.
TVRs are lighter than most cars out there and the centrifugal forces will be down to the weight of the tyre (which is presumably taken into the equation when they're setting the rating) and its rotational velocity (which is the same at a given vehicle speed, whether it takes place on a TVR or a Fiesta).
I'm not sure I've ever even reached 149mph in a car. And if I have it certainly wasn't in a Chimaera. So personally I'm quite happy with a good quality V-rated tyre...

I have just fitted Kumho V700's and so far an very impressed but do not use in frosty conditions as they go like plastic, rock hard and slippery as hell.http://www.camskill.co.uk/m62b0s302p4974/KUMHO_TYR...

Mate, for too long you have berated Toyos as a "Budget" tyre.snip

When a Company sponsors TVR Speed Champs from mid-noughties to 2009 and are one of the current sponsors of the Midland Speed Champs, it ain't no way a Budget tyre Company.

I would respectfully suggest you try their products and stop slagging them off.
Rant over as a use of a very high quality tyre and not remotely related to them or any Dealers
