I was the last one in the field!

Yep that's right, because of my poor Chim being under the weather over the weekend (maybe some of you noticed my plea for help in my windscreen!) I ended up finally leaving the field about 2pm today (Monday!) Other than a chap clearing up (Alan aka Pistonfest?) it was just us.
Funnily enough we were also the last out of the bar on saturday night! About 4am-5am-ish getting drunk with the bar staff! Was very p*ssed!
Anyhow, Managed to find a hydraulic company down the road who remade the power steering hose for 20 quid cash in hand and I spent about an hour and a half fitting it this afternoon. All sorted now though!
Had a wicked weekend and good to chat to a few people. Drag racing was awesome, shame the PH cars got demolished by the Hot Rods, but lets see them go that fast round corners!
Thanks to Warren and Charlotte from Top Cats for the help.
We're all feeling nice'n'rough now after a beer fueled weekend.

No worries mate, got it sorted in the end, learnt a bit about my PAS system and had an extra night there, went into Stratford and watched the footie with my lady, brother and a couple of mates that came along. so it was all good!
Saw you leave earlier, it is a little tempting to do donuts isn't it!! (I saw your cheeky little one!
)
Sorry I didn't come over and chat but I just wanted the car sorted. Nice car by the way. I do like the SEACs.

I know, I've got to admit that I didn't spread myself around as much as I'd have liked to.
I did see the Cerb and Lotus though, I think at the time I was either under the bonnet of my car parked infront of the beer tent, or chatting to Warren (Top Cats) on what to do with the motor!!
Then I went and had some
and watched some fottie!
This morning we went and hit the scrapheap cars with some big sticks too which was fun!!

Hi Ben, I was wondering if i'd bump into you over the weekend. I'm rubbish with faces so I may have walked right past you! I owe you a
or two aswell!
I like the look of the lights, and the whole front end, but the Chim is looking a little tired right now. A few blisters in the paintwork (about 1" wide each) have appeared where the bodyshop did the joins, I need to take it back to where I had it done.
I've just bought another car so I can pile some much needed TLC into my baby. So expect to see her back in showroom condition with well over 100k on the clock next year!!
Have to catch up with you again some time
Dan
