Bora service indicator

just about to buy a 2000 1.6 petrol Bora looks ok and I will give it a service etc but how do I turn off the service reminder, currently reads " service due in 1700 miles"
any help gratefully recd

you have to get youself down to a garage with a diagnostic machine to reset it.

if you were in middle wales id do it FOC for you

Some of them can be done on a series of buttons. Worth checking on Autodata for the reset instructions.
