Still got the NiMH charger? PLenty of 3000mAh sticks available at that price point.

If you want to go LiPO, then you'll need a balancer and Lipo charger.

Not bad at all, considering it's £21.14 at modelsport.

I found this one for £17... worth it?

eBay
What would happen if I used that on a kids car currently running a 7.2v 600mAh battery pack?
I just want it to last longer, not go faster.

yep - the more the mah the longer it will last (and take longer to charge)

Lots of things will effect it though - install ball bearings instead of plastic bushings in the gearbox and drivetrain, clean and little grease etc.

Also a good charger will dramatically change your batteries!

They are all 7.2V - You just want to get a battery with the highest cappacity you can afford.

Higher capacity = longer run times + probably a little bit more speed.

Take into consideration the lower the turn motor is the faster the car will be but the run time will be lower.

If your cells are years old they will be fecked dont bother trying to use them.
