My car started and ran on a few less cylinders than it should have done for the first 10-15s yesterday.

My wifes car also took a bit more to get started, turning over for 10-15 seconds before it caught.

Yet today both are fine like normal, despite it looking about the same (frosty and -2/-3 deg or so)

I'm guessing there are different kinds of frosts that have got in and around the sparky gear on the cars...

Never noticed that before, usually if my car is having issues it has them full stop in the cold/frost.

Special kind of frost?

Hmmmm

More humidity = more damp = more frost when it eventually freezes.
