This looks like it could be something special.
I can't put up a link from my phone but it says it will be the largest collection of James Bond vehicles the world has ever seen. There will be 50 cars to celebrate 50 years of 007 movies and it will run from 17th January to December 2012 at the Beaulieu National Motor Museum.

If anyone is going, it would be nice to see some pictures, there should be some interesting metal on show.

BBC TV news is giving them maximum publicity which would cost £m to buy as advertising time.

IIRC they've long had some Bond stuff down there and have decided to ramp it right up for this 50th anniversary.

Yes, it must have been 2006-ish when I went last and it was all there.

Like you say, they've expanded it for the anniversary.

They were putting it together a couple of weeks ago when I was there, looked like it will be pretty good, all going in the main hall and new mezzanine level. They are also updating some of the other exhibit bits that were looking very out of date.

The BBC woman didn't do her homework. The Ford KA wasn't in Casino Royale it was in Quantum of Solace .....Bondnerd

Sound good there. When I went last they already had a few bond cars there. How about a PH trip down biggrin
