sorry guys - selling my cerb

first of all sorry mods i forgot i wasnt meant to link to my ad and i realise why you had to remove my thread
selling my cerb as i much prefer my chimaera.i tried to like the cerb and i loved the idea of having 2 TVRs. Mark persuaded me to give it time and i would learn to love it. But i thought i could have the cerb as my "anytime" car. but i was daydreaming yesterday and had a bit of a "moment" which scared me a little and my girlfriend a lot! i think driving any TVR means you have to concentrate 100% of the time. so i decided to keep the chim and sell the cerb,and probably get another 350z which i loved. i will keep the chim as a special car and treat it like an event and give it my fullest concentration when i drive it . in my other forums i have said i much prefer the power delivery of the chim.
i have only had the cerb for 4 months, and i am not selling it because i have found anything wrong or untoward. i have appreciated all the help and advice i have been given on these forums and as such i would not try to mislead anyone.

Sad time, but you had the itch and scratched it. Had to be done.
If you do have a scare, it can really put you off, and if you can't shake that then you'll never enjoy it.
Good luck with the next car, and I'm glad you are keeping the Chimaera - it's still a very special car. At least you can say you have owned (or been owned by) a Cerbera.

i think i would have been ok if i had either started with the cerb, or only had the cerbera. but if i had to get somewhere quickly and safely and with other things on my mind i dont think i would plump for the cerb :-)
at the moment i think i have also changed my mind to get a tuscan as well, for the same reasons. i think i would have to sell the chim before i get another tvr

Hi SCott, power delivery. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about or can't describe it properly but I prefer the way the chim accelerates, maybe it's the drama and the noise , I'm not sure.
The scary moment wasn't enough to scare me off, it was just that it reminded me of how careful I have to be, and I want one car that I can kind of relax in and still make speedy progress :-)

Robert, thats exactly it. ever since i saw a cerbera i wanted one, i loved the way it looks, i love the intererior, the way it sounds , but....... i think on reflection i should only have one TVR at a time and then i will appreciate what i have a bit more. mind you there were some practical things i couldnt live with. i am only six feet but i found it very difficult to get in and out of, it always hurt my neck. and i hated having to lean forward to see traffic lights and get a proper view because of the narrow screen.
when its time i will sell my chim and get a tuscan, maybe an overlap, and then decide between the three. i cant afford a T car :-(
