Protech or Gaz Gold Pro - thoughts please

Need to replace the front shocks on my Griff 500 - which I think are the original Bilsteins. One is leaking.
Thought I might as well replace all four, especially as many suppliers are offering deals at the moment.
Which one though - Gaz Gold Pro or Protechs?
Road usage only - no track days.

Gaz Monotubes with correct springs to suit application. Far superior to Golds and worth the extra. They work superbly well.
Gaz website states Monotubes coming soon. Assume Colin that you've got some on the Griff then?Maybe the website needs updating. How much are they for comparison?

I went with the Gaz Gold Pros, fitted by Derek 2 years ago over at the Gaz factory.
The morning included a tour of the factory & a very open admission of the previous issues.
I was then given a detailed explanation of how the new Gaz Gold Pro's had been engineered to eliminate the problems.
I witnessed the final assembly and testing of my units and watched Derek fit them to my car while I drank tea, the whole experience was excellent.
Ultimately I decided on the Gaz Gold Pros for a number of reasons.
1) They are British
2) They are very well priced
3) If there is ever any problems with them I can drive the 45 miles over to the factory and make a nuisance of myself until things were put right to my satisfaction
Turns out I needn't have worried about point 3, my units have done over 6,000 miles so far without a single issue.
No squeaks, no leaks, & above all they have proved to be a massive step up from my original 30,000 mile Bilsteins.
Gaz are a well known British firm that have been in business since the early 1970's, they must have produced dampers in the tens of thousands by now.
In the UK you don't stay in business that long selling bad products and giving poor after care to your UK customers.
With a lot of those customers involved in the small world of UK club motor sport, if the product or service was bad from Gaz word would quickly get around & they would soon be out of business.
Of cause no damper will last for ever, it's a consumable component, but a consumable component that can be reconditioned by the manufacturer or a specialist if he can get hold of the seals ect.
I would hate to end up with something that couldn't be serviced because they were made somewhere unspecified in deepest Far East Asia, & then discover the importer had stopped bringing them in & is no longer supporting the product.
When the time comes to recondition my Gaz units I'll just give Derek a bell & run them over to the factory, this definitely gives me peace of mind.
Gaz clearly support their product & (if the product is good) I like to support British manufacturers.
