White wheels black 996 ?

I must be going mad, I was thinking of getting my wheels refubed and thought it would be nice to have something different so i came up with this bright idea of having the wheels sprayed white.

Ive seen it done on jap cars and a few bmws but not sure if it would cheapen the look of my car,
What do you think?

If anyone has some pictures please post, as when i googled it nothing came up with a black porsche with white wheels.

Maybe that tells me something.

White on a white car, yes. Maybe not on black, maybe a grey, or black with crome/silver lip?
Back in the '90s I had a grey mk2 Golf GTI on white wheels and that looked good IMO so it might work?

Errr.... no. Sorry mate but those wheels would best look painted to look like a different wheel altogether, never mind white imho

I'd stick to silver or possibly a darker metallic grey if you really want to make a change for the sake of it. Anything else is going to look dubious at best.

This thread has reminded me that i still have not put my white track wheels on my car, so today I will do it and post a picture to see what you all think. The colour is blue with white wheels....

I don't think those wheels would pull it off. . They need to be a more motorsport theme wheel like the twin spoke gt3 wheel or mo compomotives are the king of white wheels.

I have decided it was a stupid idea and i will be keeping them silver.

i would go for purple..saw a basalt black gt3 the other day with metallic purple wheels and it looked mega.
