996 turbo exhaust help

[widow maker]

what is the differance between 996 and 997 turbo exhaust
reason i have a friend that is selling a nice sounding exhaust from his gen 1 997 turbo
thought i might be able to mod it to fit

worth a try, but the tail of the exhaust of 997 goes through the bumper where as the 996 is underneath.
