I am in the middle of installing the headlights and taillights, and have a question about the front turn signal light...

Is the rubber boot supposed to go to the inside or the outside? I have opened up the aperature so that the lense itself fits through, but not the rubber boot. I the rubber boot supposed to fit through the aperature as well?

also, I do not see a way to screw both sides of the football (American football...) shaped backing plate to the fiberglass headlign housing. I can orient it so that I could get one screw through it (with a nyloc in the accessable blind area of the housing) but see no way of turning it so that two screws could be hidden in the blind area...

Scratching my head on this one...

Allen,

The rubber boot does not fit through the opening as well as the lens. What you have done so far is right.
The "football" shape backing plate is a bit tricky to fit.

The screw holes have to be very close to the edge.
Bit difficult to explain, Check out the build sites, CJ's and James Crewes web sites are both very informative.
