A bit silly I know but which of the below would be fastest on the Top Gear Test track:

1. 968 CS
2. 928 GT manual
3. 993 C2
4. 996 C4S
5. Cayman Spyder

The track is dry. Temp 18c. A slight wind from the south west.

My money would be on the cayman I think.

It will never be the Cayman Spyder as this model does not exist. A Boxster Spyder or a Cayman R would be a different story wink

The cayman driver wouldn't show because she'd be needed to do a last minute perm at the salon. The 996 would do half a lap but then grenade its RMS through Gambon. The 993 driver would never finish the Zaino detail the night before. The 928 wouldn't start on the actual morning on the test because of a 10 year dry joint somewhere in the loom and the 968cs would need its rear KW dampers adjusted to set a good time but sadly this cant be done in less than a week because the adjuster faces upwards into a blind turret. So, in summary ... none of them. wink

You're not alone - a chap pulled up along side me in his Panamera and asked if my Spyder was a Cayman.

Not to be picky but isn't Gambon the last corner? wink

Brilliant though by the way!
