On a related note, my father did his military service together with Kankkunen - we were in place to cheer him on to victory, every year, in the Swedish and Finnish rallies. When we go to Finland to visit my grandmother, we pass his estate and the old man never misses the opportunity to point out who it belongs to. Funnily enough, Mäkinen lives only a few miles up the road. Bet those two get up to rather a lot of mischief.

Probably - the 5-0 is actually known to exercise a degree of common sense in Finland. Empty road + two ex-WRC champs + 150mph = common sense.

But apart from that, they do both own mahooooooosive estates to the tune of hundreds of hectares. Put in other words, they have died and gone to rally heaven. Guess where http://www.tommimakinen.net/mainpage.htm test their cars...?
